Teen Struck and Injured on Tenaya Way in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 2, 2023) – Clark County School District police confirmed that an 18-year-old Cimarron-Memorial High School student suffered injuries in an accident on Tenaya Way on April 26.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened on the east side of the campus.
 
Based on a report, the student was crossing the road at a marked crosswalk. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came and struck the victim.
 
As a result, the girl suffered injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported her to UMC, where her condition is unknown at this time.
 
The driver of the car remained on the scene and was cited for failing to stop for a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
