Teenagers Riley Danard and Khalea Thoeuk Identified in Fatal Seattle Crash

 
SEATTLE, WA (March 24, 2023) Seattle police identified 18-year-old Khalea Thoeuk and 18-year-old Riley Danard as the victims who died in a wrong-way crash at the West Seattle Bridge on March 22.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened shortly before 12:30 AM. Based on a report, a white pickup truck was driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes of the bridge prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, it crashed into the victims’ car.
 
As a result, both Thoeuk and Danard died at the scene.
 
Seattle Fire Department medics said the driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police said he showed signs of impairment and is under investigation for vehicular homicide.
