18-Year-Old Jayden Kleinow Suspected of DUI in Crash on Highway 82 in Union Gap

 
UNION GAP, WA (April 10, 2023) – Officials identified 18-year-old Jayden Kleinow of Sunnyside as the driver who was injured in a suspected DUI crash on Highway 82 on March 26.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 10:47 PM. Based on a report, Kleinow was driving a 2008 Nissan Sentra eastbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she left the road near exit 40, rolled over and landed partially in the highway. Then, a 2009 Ford F-150 of 21-year-old Wesley Avila of Zillah struck the Nissan.
 
As a result, Kleinow suffered injuries in the incident. He was transported to MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital, where he is in good condition.
 
Police suspected Kleinow of driving under the influence.
 
At this point, an investigation into the accident is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
