Isaiah Tecpa Struck and Killed by DUI Driver in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 1, 2023) – The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified 18-year-old Isaiah Tecpa of La Puente who died in an accident on Las Vegas Boulevard on October 20.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Arby Avenue just before 1:00 AM. Based on a report, Tecpa was crossing the road outside a marked crosswalk.
 
At that point, a 2011 Dodge Durango traveling south on Las Vegas Boulevard struck him.
 
As a result, Tecpa sustained grave injuries and died at the scene of the crash.
 
Police said the Durango driver, 37-year-old Christopher Thompson of Las Vegas, remained on the scene and showed signs of impairment. They arrested and took him to the Clark County Detention Center.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
