17-Year-Old Giovanna Rizzo Identified in Fatal Crash on Winchester Road at Keller Road in Winchester

 
WINCHESTER, CA (June 13, 2023) – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office identfiied 17-year-old Giovanna Rizzo of Murrieta who died in a crash on Winchester Road on June 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Keller Road shortly before 9:00 PM. Based on a report, Rizzo was in the front passenger seat of a Nissan Titan with two teens.
 
At the same time, a GMC Sierra, driven by a 30-year-old man, was also on the road. Due to unknown reasons, the Sierra ran a red light and hit the Nissan.
 
As a result, Rizzo suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Her boyfriend, Gavin Hooper, suffered cuts and bruises. His sister, Landis Hooper, suffered severe brain injury.
 
A GoFundMe was set up to support Rizzo’s family.
