Two Teens Identified in Fatal Car Crash in Vidor
VIDOR, TX (December 21, 2022) – Officers identified 15-year-old Blake Adam Post and 14-year-old John Paul Castilaw III as the victims who died in a crash on Concord Street on December 18.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened shortly before 2:00 AM. Based on a report, Post was driving a 2012 Dodge Journey north on Concord Street prior to the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control and traveled off the roadway. Subsequently, the Dodge hit a utility pole and a parked RV before it caught fire.
As a result, Post and Castilaw III – who was in the passenger seat – died.
Funeral arrangements have been set for both Castilaw III and Post.
Police did not release additional information at this time. As of now, the crash remains under investigation.
