13-Year-Old Dylan Dominguez Struck and Killed While Skateboarding in Fellows
FELLOWS, CA (January 20, 2023) – Buttonwillow CHP officers identified 13-year-old Dylan Jon Dominguez of Fellows as the boy who died in a skateboarding accident on Highway 33 on January 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Arnold Avenue around 5:30 PM.
Based on a report, it was dark and raining heavily at the time when Dominguez was skateboarding on the southbound side of the highway. Subsequently, a Ford F-150 driven by 59-year-old Dudley S. Benable Jr hit him.
As a result, Dominguez died at the scene.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
