10-Year-Old Liyah-Grace Holsey Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Sublett Road [Arlington, TX]

10-Year-Old Liyah-Grace Holsey Struck and Killed by Two Vehicles on Sublett Road at Park Springs Boulevard in Arlington

 
ARLINGTON, TX (January 2, 2024) – Officials identified 10-year-old Liyah-Grace Holsey who died in a pedestrian accident on Sublett Road on December 28.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Park Springs Boulevard shortly before 4:00 PM. Based on a report, Holsey was a fifth-grader at the Mary Moore Elementary School.
 
Officials said the girl was attempting to cross from the north side to the south side of Sublett Road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, two vehicles traveling east along the road hit her. According to police, both drivers had a green light.
 
As a result, Holsey suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to the hospital, where she later died.
 
Police said the drivers stopped, remained at the scene, and cooperated with them.
