1-Year-Old Legend Hayes Run Over and Killed by Vehicle in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (April 23, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 1-year-old Legend Hayes who died in a pedestrian accident on 45th Street on April 7.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Broadway Road shortly after 3:00 PM. Based on a report, a family member of Hayes saw the toddler inside the house before the incident.
 
Subsequently, the driver moved the vehicle and ran the victim over.
 
As a result, the toddler suffered grave injuries. Emergency crews rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
 
Police did not make any arrests.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
