Fatal Tucson Car Crash on Craycroft Road at Pima Street in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (January 26, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department confirmed that one person died in a car crash on North Craycroft Road on January 16.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at East Pima Street around 7:55 PM. Based on a report, a 2005 Subaru Baja was headed northbound on Craycroft Road at the time of the crash.
 
As it was attempting to make a left turn onto Pima Street, it crashed with a southbound 2010 Dodge Challenger in the median lane.
 
As a result, the Subaru driver died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the man’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
Police said the driver of the Dodge was not impaired at that time.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
