Noelle Rivera Identified in Fatal Accident on Highway 89 in Markleeville

 
MARKLEEVILLE, CA (November 17, 2022) – Police identified 33-year-old Noelle Elizabeth Rivera of Fair Oaks who died in a car accident on Highway 89 on November 14.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Pickett’s Junction around 4:25 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a white 2019 Hyundai Elantra sedan on the southbound side of the highway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she drove the sedan off the roadway and hit a small boulder.
 
As a result, Rivera suffered fatal injuries.
 
Her two juvenile passengers – ages 7 and 9, also from Fair Oaks – received moderate-to-major injuries. They were airlifted via helicopter to Renown Regional Medical Center.
 
At this point, the CHP continues to investigate the case.
