Edrey Ramirez Identified in Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 84 in Palestine

 
PALESTINE, TX (October 5, 2022) – Police identified 31-year-old Edrey Hernandez Ramirez of Lindale as the victim who died in a head-on crash on Highway 84 on October 2.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 6:09 AM.
 
Based on a report, Ramirez was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra east in the westbound side of the highway prior to the crash. Subsequently, he crashed into a 2013 Ford F350 head-on.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced Ramirez dead at the scene.
 
The Ford driver, 45-year-old David Trawick of Jacksonville, suffered injuries and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, police traffic investigators are handling the incident. However, no other details are available.
