DALLAS, TX (October 6, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died following a pedestrian accident on South Carroll Avenue on October 2.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 30 Freeway shortly before 3:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the pedestrian down in the roadway. The victim suffered injuries consistent to someone who was hit by a vehicle. However, deputies and Dallas police are not sure how many vehicles were involved.
 
As a result, emergency crews said the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity, pending next of kin notification.
 
One driver stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators.
