Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Vehicle in Cypress Accident on Fairfield Place

 
CYPRESS, TX (October 6, 2022) – Police confirmed that a child was hurt following a pedestrian accident in the 2200 block of Fairfield Place on October 3.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Cumberland Ridge Drive.
 
Based on a report, the child was in the lanes at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck the victim.
 
As a result, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said the victim suffered unknown injuries in the incident. Emergency crews treated the injuries at the scene.
 
It was not clear if the crash occurred at a crosswalk. Authorities did not also release information on the driver.
 
As of now, police traffic investigators are handling the incident. In addition, no other details are available.
