Rufino Rebollar and Fabian Rebollar Die, Marilyn Thompson Detained after DUI Accident in Bexar County

 
BEXAR COUNTY, TX (November 21, 2024) — 38-year-old Fabian Pedraza Rebollar and 46-year-old Rufino Pedraza Rebollar died in an accident on Tuesday, November 5.
 
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at about 2:46 p.m. on the 27200 Block of 10 Freeway West.
 
BCSO said Marilyn Denise Thompson drove her gray Hyundai on the freeway. Then she rear-ended a white Chevrolet and a red Ford truck.
 
Emergency responders brought Thompson to a local hospital with serious injuries.
 
BCSO said Fabian, who drove a white Chevrolet, died at a local hospital.
 
A passenger inside the Chevrolet, Rebollar, died at the scene.
 
The driver of the red Ford truck sustained minor injuries.
 
Investigators later determined that Thompson displayed no signs of braking before the crash. They also found open containers in the Thompson’s Hyundai.
 
Authorities charged Thompson with two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
