Jose Hernandez Dead, Another Hospitalized after Laredo Pedestrian Accident

 
LAREDO, TX (July 29, 2024) — 40-year-old Jose Miguel Fernandez Hernandez died in a pedestrian accident on Monday, July 15.
 
According to the Laredo Police Department, officers responded to the 4200 block of San Dario Avenue at around 9:00 p.m.
 
Laredo Police said a Ford Expedition struck two people on San Dario Avenue. Hernandez was one of the victims. Paramedics brought him to the hospital where he later died. The other victim, a 22-year-old, sustained minor injuries.
 
The driver of the Expedition only described as a 22-year-old woman, remained at the scene and then called the authorities.
 
Police continue to investigate the crash.
