Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash on Riverside Boulevard in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 11, 2023) – The Sacramento Police Department confirmed the death of two people in a single-vehicle crash on Riverside Boulevard on May 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at 43rd Avenue at approximately 11:25 PM. Based on a report, the victims were occupants in a vehicle traveling near the intersection.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the car crashed in the lanes.
 
As a result, officers found a man dead at the scene. Crews transported a woman to a hospital, where she died. Officials did not yet release their names, pending kin notification.
 
It is unclear how the crash happened.
