Car Crashes into Home in Fatal Accident on 225th Street Court East in Spanaway

 
SPANAWAY, WA (May 8, 2023) – The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that one person died in a car accident in the 4600 block of 225th Street Court East on May 4.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened shortly after 12:30 AM. Based on a report, the car was traveling on the road when it got airborne.
 
After the vehicle flew through the air, it hit the corner of the gutters of a house.
 
As a result, a woman inside the vehicle died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews transported a man to the hospital in critical condition.
 
Investigators have not released what led up to the crash. At this point, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
