Woman Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Galveston Street [Laredo, TX]

LAREDO, TX (October 3, 2022) – A 47-year-old woman suffered critical injuries following a pedestrian accident on Galveston Street on September 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Sanders Avenue around 7:54 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck her. It was not clear if she was at the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
 
As a result, paramedics with the Laredo Fire Department arrived and found the woman down on the street. Officers said the victim suffered multiple injuries in the incident. Immediately, crews transported her to Laredo Medical Center for treatment.
