PHOENIX, AZ (August 9, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that a woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on 28th Avenue on July 21.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at McDowell Road around 11:45 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the victim in the lanes.
 
As a result, the victim was badly injured in the incident. Phoenix police said officers found her on the ground with the vehicle stopped nearby. Emergency crews took her to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Police found the driver with signs of impairment.
