PHOENIX, AZ (March 13, 2024) – Officials confirmed one person died in a pedestrian accident on 12th Street on March 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Campbell Avenue just after 6:00 AM. Based on a report, police responded and found out that a woman was in the roadway before the crash.
 
Subsequently, a car heading south on 12th Street struck her.
 
As a result, the victim suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to the hospital, where she later died.
