Woman Dies, Man Suffers Injuries After Vine Hill Crash on Interstate 680

 
VINE HILL, CA (February 16, 2025) — A woman died while a man sustained injuries following a crash on Interstate 680 on Monday morning, February 10.

The fatal incident happened at around 10:32 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials stated that a white Dodge Caravan being occupied by a man and a woman had headed north on I-680.

For reasons still undetermined, the Dodge went off the right shoulder, reverted to the road before slamming into the concrete center divider.

The Dodge then rolled over, ejecting the female occupant in the process.

The accident left the woman dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the man survived but suffered major injuries, prompting respondents to conduct a medical transport to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities are still working on determining the cause and circumstances behind the collision.
