Fatal DUI Crash on 130th Street in Seattle

 
SEATTLE, WA (November 7, 2022) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a suspected DUI car crash on 130th Street on November 3.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near 5 Freeway.
 
Based on a report, a 45-year-old man drove off 130th near Shoreline down onto the freeway below. Subsequently, he landed on the front end of one vehicle before hitting another and rolling over.
 
The second vehicle he hit also rolled over and hit yet another vehicle in the process.
 
As a result, a 29-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she later died. Officers did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
Police arrested the man of driving under the influence, reckless driving and vehicular assault. In addition, King County Prosecutors are also pushing for vehicular homicide and vehicular assault charges.
 
An investigation is ongoing.
