Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Fatal Accident on Alameda Avenue in Denver

 
DENVER, CO (July 26, 2024) – The Denver Police Department confirmed that a woman died in a hit-and-run on Alameda Avenue on July 4.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Dayton Street around 3:45 AM. Based on a report, the woman was in a vehicle that crashed with another car at the intersection.
 
As first responders arrived, they saw two cars with extensive damage. They reported that the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene.
 
As a result, the woman from the first vehicle suffered grave injuries in the incident. Crews took her to the hospital, where she died.
 
Police later located and arrested the hit-and-run driver.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
