Woman Struck and Seriously Injured by Vehicle on Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale

 
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (October 30, 2024) – The Scottsdale Police Department confirmed that a woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Scottsdale Road on October 17.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thunderbird Road. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the woman in the lanes near the intersection.
 
As a result, the victim suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews took her to the hospital for treatment. Authorities did not release her name, pending kin notification.
 
Scottsdale police say crews shut down the intersection while they worked at the scene.
