Woman Killed in Las Vegas Car Crash on 15 Freeway and East Craig Road

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 5, 2023) — A woman died, and a man is in critical condition after a car accident on the 15 Freeway on Sunday, June 18.
 
According to Nevada State Police, the crash happened at 11:58 a.m. on 15 Freeway, south of East Craig Road.
 
Investigators said a woman drove a white Toyota Corolla northbound on 15 Freeway. For unknown reasons, the woman was not able to stay in her lane. The vehicle went across another lane of traffic and then it went into the dirt shoulder.
 
After that, the vehicle went into the shoulder, and she over-corrected. Then the vehicle rotated counterclockwise and overturned.
 
Police said the driver did not wear a seatbelt, and the impact ejected her from the vehicle. A man was in the passenger’s seat.
 
Paramedics transported both the man and woman to the University Medical Center for treatment. The woman died from her injuries. The passenger sustained injuries and is in critical condition.
