Wan Mei Tan Struck, Killed by Vehicle in San Francisco

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 17, 2023) – The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office identified 64-year-old Wan Mei Tan as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on 16th Street on January 10.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Valencia Street around 5:51 PM.
 
Based on a report, Tan was walking on the roadway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle making a left turn at the intersection hit her.
 
As a result, San Francisco Police confirmed that Tan succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
