Virginia Raney Identified in Fatal Lamar County Crash, Bryson Stee Injured

 
LAMAR COUNTY, TX (December 15, 2022) – Police officers identified 24-year-old Virginia Raney of Bogota as the victim who died in a crash on Highway 271 on December 11.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near 4th Street.
 
Based on a report, Raney was traveling northbound on the highway prior to the crash. At the same time, there was a pickup truck that was traveling southbound. Due to unknown reasons, the truck crossed the center lane and stuck in the left front area of Raney’s car.
 
As a result, Raney was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the truck, 19-year-old Bryson Stee of Scroggins, had non-incapacitating injuries. Paramedics transported him to Paris Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
