KILLEEN, TX (March 4, 2025) — A 54-year-old man identified as Vincent Tyrone McKnight died in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday, February 23.
 
According to the Killeen Police Department, the collision at around 2:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Stan Schlueter Loop.
 
According to initial findings, a black Jeep Patriot driven by McKnight was exiting a parking lot. Then a white Jeep Cherokee traveling eastbound on Stan Schlueter Loop struck him.
 
Emergency responders arrived and found McKnight critically injured. They airlifted him to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics brought the female driver of the Jeep Cherokee to AdventHealth. She was reported to be in stable condition.
 
Investigators have not released further details about what may have caused the crash.
