13-Year-Old Bradley Daniels Jr. Struck and Critically Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on Wheatland Road in Dallas
DALLAS, TX (March 3, 2025) – The Dallas Police Department identified 13-year-old Bradley Daniels Jr. who suffered critical injuries in a hit-and-run on Wheatland Road on February 23.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Friendship West Baptist Church. Based on a report, Daniels was walking with friends in the grassy median on Wheatland Road at the time.
When he stepped off the median, a truck hit him. Police say the driver sped off without rendering aid to the victim.
As a result, the boy suffered a skull fracture, brain bleeding and other injuries. His parents say the bleeding in his brain has stopped but he remains in critical condition.
Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspect’s vehicle or knows anything about the crash to contact them.
