DALLAS, TX (March 7, 2024) — One woman identified as 45-year-old Valerie Garcia died in a speeding crash on Tuesday, February 27.
 
According to the Dallas Police, the crash took place at the intersection of South Buckner Boulevard and Forney Road at about 1:00 a.m.
 
Dallas police said a Chevy Impala moved at a high rate of speed. Then it struck another vehicle. The impact caused the second vehicle to flip.
 
Garcia, who was in the flipped car, died at the scene.
 
Paramedics transported the two men in the Impala to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
Police continue to investigate whether the Impala was in street racing.
