Suspected DUI Driver Valdimir Hall Involved in Serious-Injury Crash on Desert Inn Road at Nellis Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 13, 2025) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested 53-year-old Valdimir Hall following a head-on crash on Desert Inn Road on January 8.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Nellis Boulevard Street around 3:20 PM. Based on a report, Hall was driving a Ram 1500 pickup truck northbound on Nellis Boulevard before the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he crossed the center median and struck a Toyota Sienna minivan head-on.
 
As a result, the Toyota driver suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. Emergency crews transported him to a hospital in a stable condition.
 
Crews also took Hall to a local hospital for observation of substantial injuries.
 
Police indicated that intoxication was a contributing factor in the incident. They arrested and booked Hall in absentia on suspicion of DUI.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
