Minibike Involved in Fatal Accident with Commercial Truck on Van Buren Street at Estrella Parkway in Goodyear
GOODYEAR, AZ (January 13, 2025) – The Goodyear Police Department confirmed that a 14-year-old boy died in a minibike accident on Van Buren Street on January 6.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Estrella Parkway around 3:45 PM. Based on a report, the boy was riding his minibike when he collided with a commercial truck.
Police officers and firefighters responded and found the victim underneath the truck. Rescue crews performed CPR before rushing him to a hospital, where he died a short time later. Authorities did not release the teen’s name pending notification of next of kin.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
