Tyrell Miller Identified in Fatal Lubbock Crash on South Loop 289
LUBBOCK, TX (May 2, 2023) – The Lubbock Police Department identified 38-year-old Tyrell Miller as the victim who died in a crash on South Loop 289 on April 30.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at University Avenue around 4:29 AM. Based on a report, the victim was in a vehicle that was traveling west on the loop prior to the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road and hit a guardrail, causing it to roll over.
As a result, Miller suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
The car driver, 40-year-old Margaret Sertuche, and a third occupant suffered serious injuries. Crews transported them to University Medical Center for treatment.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
