Two Sustained Injuries in Semi-Truck Accident on 25 Freeway
PUEBLO, CO (December 23, 2024) — Two people suffered injuries in a semi-truck accident on the 25 Freeway on Monday, December 9.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at around 4:29 p.m. on the 25 Freeway. The Colorado Department of Transportation added that the incident took place between exit 71 at Graneros Road and CO 165, mile point 74.
CSP said a semi-truck and a 2010 GMC Sierra were in the crash.
Emergency responders arrived and then brought two people to a hospital with serious injuries.
Following the incident, officers closed the northbound and southbound lanes of the 25 Freeway. They reopened the freeway on Monday night.
