MESA, AZ (September 16, 2024) – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that two people suffered serious injuries in an accident on Bush Highway on September 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Usery Pass Road and Highway 87 around 1:00 AM. Based on a report, the incident involved a single vehicle.
 
As a result, the two occupants of the vehicle sustained major injuries. Emergency crews transported the victims to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
The crash caused the closure of Bush Highway in both directions.
 
During their investigation, MCSO said deputies found signs of possible impairment of alcohol.
