COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 17, 2024) — Two people sustained minor injuries after a small plane emergency landing on Airport Road on Friday, May 31.
 
According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department, they received reports of a small aircraft that made an emergency landing in a field around 1:00 p.m.
 
CSFD said the aircraft landed north of Airport Road and Powers Boulevard. The two people who occupied the plane suffered minor injuries.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and then gave treatment to the injured.
