Two People Died and One Juvenile Arrested for Stolen Vehicle Crash on Blossom Hill Road

 
SAN JOSE, CA (February 2, 2023) – Two people were killed and one minor was arrested after a fiery crash of an alleged stolen vehicle on Blossom Hill Road on January 27.

According to the San Jose Police, they responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash around 4:20 a.m. It took place near the southeast corner of the Blossom Hill Road on-ramp.

Based on reports, a 2018 Hyundai sedan was speeding through the northbound lane of Cottle Road at the time of the crash.

Soon after, it drove off-road where it crashed with a light post. The vehicle then burst into flames.

Responders found one male passenger who died at the scene.

They transported two others to the hospital after sustaining unknown injuries. The female passenger later succumbed to her injuries and died.

The driver was arrested, and detained at the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall. He faces charges for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle and two counts of manslaughter.
