Fatal Vehicle and Motorcycle Accident on Cottonwood Avenue in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA,CA (October 20, 2022) – Police confirmed two deaths following an accident between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Cottonwood Avenue on October 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Sequoia Street around 7:24 PM.
 
Based on a report, a Honda CBR motorcycle was traveling west on Sequoia while and a Subaru Outback was traveling south on Cottonwood prior to the crash. At the intersection, the Honda failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the Subaru.
 
As a result, a 22-year-old man driving the Honda and a 43-year-old man driving the Subaru died at the scene. Hesperia Sheriff’s Station officials did not yet release the names of the victims, pending kin notification.
 
In addition, San Bernardino County Fire personnel said a 71-year-old woman riding in the Subaru suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, the Hesperia Station Major Accident Investigation Team is still conducting an investigation.
