Man, Woman Die in Crash on Highway 410 in Enumclaw

 
ENUMCLAW, WA (October 23, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that two people died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 410 on October 13.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened just before 11:45 AM. Based on a report, a 63-year-old woman was traveling along the westbound lanes of the highway at the time of the crash.
 
The woman entered the eastbound lanes to pass multiple cars. When she tried to re-enter the westbound lanes, she collided with the car of the victims, causing it to lose control. At that point, victims entered the eastbound lanes and a third vehicle struck it.
 
As a result, the 72-year-old man and the 69-year-old woman in the second vehicle died in the incident.
 
Crews took two other people to a Seattle area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another person had moderate injuries.
 
Authorities said the 63-year-old woman could face vehicular homicide charges.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
