Fatal Motorcycle and Vehicle Crash on Surfwood Lane at Pueblo Boulevard in Pueblo

 
PUEBLO, CO (June 13, 2023) – The Pueblo Police Department confirmed that two people died in a motorcycle crash on Surfwood Lane on June 3.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Pueblo Boulevard shortly before 11:00 PM. Based on a report, a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Pueblo at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
At the same rate, a black BMW was northbound on Pueblo. As the car was making a left turn onto Surfwood, the motorcycle struck its passenger side.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist and a passenger in the car died at the scene. Officials did not yet release their names, pending kin notification.
 
Speed is a factor in this collision. Pueblo Police Crime Scene unit and Traffic section are investigating the case.
