MESQUITE, NV (December 4, 2023) — Two people sustained fatal injuries in a car crash on 15 Freeway on Sunday, November 26.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place on the 15 Freeway at mile marker 105 just before 7:15 p.m.
 
Police said a vehicle traveled southbound on the 15 Freeway. Then, for unknown reasons, failed to stay in its lane. After that, it overturned and struck a median.
 
The driver and the passenger in the vehicle suffered fatal injuries. Emergency responders pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
Authorities closed the freeway at mile marker 105 was closed Sunday night. They also urged the motorists to slow down for first responders on-scene.
 
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal crash.
