DENVER, CO (December 4, 2023) — A disabled man suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Federal Boulevard on Thursday, November 30.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, the incident took place on Federal Boulevard at West 10th Avenue just before noon.
 
Police officials said a truck driver fatally struck a pedestrian pushing himself backwards while in the crash. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner has not yet released the pedestrian’s identity pending notification of loved ones.
 
The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Authorities closed the crash in both directions. They also advised motorists to find alternate routes. They reopened the roads by 3:30 p.m.
 
Denver police said investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
