RICHLAND, WA (December 1, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that two people were hurt in a crash on Highway 182 on November 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened just east of George Washington Way around 9:00 AM. Based on a report, two cars were traveling westbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
The car in front reportedly slowed down for traffic, resulting in the other car hitting the rear of the first vehicle.
 
As a result, two passengers in the second car suffered injuries in the incident.
 
The drivers of both cars were not hurt, but the second driver is facing a second-degree negligent driving charge. WSP determined that the cause was inattention.
