Driver, 15-Year-Old Injured in Spring School Bus Accident on Champions Forest Drive

 
SPRING, TX (April 9, 2024) — Two people sustained injuries in a school bus accident on Champions Forest Drive on Monday, April 1.
 
The crash involving a bus and a vehicle took place in the 19300 block of Champions Forest Drive near Gleannloch Estates Drive at around 3:00 p.m.
 
Klein Independent School District confirmed that six Kaufman Alternative Education Center students were on the bus. Then another vehicle struck it.
 
Paramedics evaluated the students as a precaution, the district said.
 
Emergency responders also arrived at the scene for a 15-year-old with injuries. The district confirmed the teen was a passenger in the car that struck the bus.
 
EMS transported both the driver and the 15-year-old passenger to the hospital. However, their conditions are not immediately available.
 
Authorities advised motorists to expect delays as the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
