CHANDLER, AZ (July 8, 2024) — Two people died after a two-vehicle accident on Armstrong Place and Price Road on Tuesday, June 18.
 
According to the Chandler police, the crash took place at about 10:30 p.m.
 
Officers responded to the scene and discovered two heavily damaged vehicles. Other than that, they also found both drivers dead, who were the only occupants of their vehicles.
 
The identity of the two deceased drivers is not immediately available.
 
Detectives also arrived at the area to investigate. It then prompted the closure of the intersection during the overnight hours. Police said the closure did not last into the morning commute.
 
Chandler PD said the investigation is still underway. They have not released if speed, impairment, and other factors contributed to the incident.
