CHANDLER, AZ (November 7, 2023) — Two adults and a child suffered injuries after a three-vehicle accident on the 10 Freeway on Friday, October 10.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened near 10 Freeway at Riggs Road near Milepost 167 at about 2:00 p.m.
 
According to witnesses, one vehicle crossed all lanes and struck another car and the semi. One of the passenger vehicles went under the semi, DPS said.
 
Authorities said three people, including a small child, sustained serious injuries.
 
Officials closed all westbound lanes of the freeway. They reopened all blocked lanes at about 5:45 p.m.
 
The investigation of the crash is still ongoing.
