Tucker Miles Killed Identified in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in Gregg County
GREGG COUNTY, TX (May 10, 2023) – Troopers identified 27-year-old Tucker Miles of Sulphur Springs in a fatal crash on FM 1844 on April 30.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Spur 502. Based on a report, Miles was driving a Mazda 6 east on FM 1844 prior to the crash.
At the same time, 54-year-old General Edwards of Longview was traveling south on Spur 502 in a Jeep Wrangler. Due to unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided in the intersection, continued, and crashed into a stationary Honda Fit and Toyota Tacoma.
As a result, Miles suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
Crews treated Edwards for non-incapacitating injuries. A passenger in the Honda, Timeka Thomas, also sustained non-incapacitating injuries.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
