Travonta Williams and Troy Coates Identified in Fatal Car Crash on in Rowlett

 
ROWLETT, TX (December 2, 2022) – Rowlett Police identified 62-year-old Troy Coates and Travonta Williams as the victims who died in a head-on car crash on President George Bush Highway on November 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Lakeview Parkway shortly before 12:20 AM.
 
Based on a report, Coates was driving a 1993 Nissan pickup north on the southbound lanes of the tollway prior to the crash. Subsequently, the pickup hit Williams’s 2013 Nissan Altima head-on.
 
As a result, Coates and Williams were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
