Trinidad Huerta Causes T-Bone Crash on Southeast Military Drive at South Presa Street in San Antonio

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 4, 2023) – The San Antonio Police Department arrested Trinidad Huerta after an accident on Southeast Military Drive on December 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at South Presa Street at approximately 9:00 PM. Based on a report, a police officer was westbound while responding to a burglary call.
 
At the same time, Huerta was driving a black Nissan truck eastbound. The officer cut through the intersection with his lights and sirens on. Due to unknown reasons, Huerta tried to make a left-hand turn going north, cut in front of the officer, and T-boned him causing a major accident.
 
As a result, the officer suffered from head trauma and was transported to SAMMC with serious injuries.
Officers evaluated and arrested Huerta for DWI.
